Bill's Story
Married almost 40 years now. We've lived in Oregon since 84.Raised two boys, and two foster boys. All of them have been married and divorced. We have a couple grandkids who will be graduating high school in the next few years. I'm a telecom engineer for a large west coast firm. She's a CPA for a small manufacturer. We're both looking forward to retiring.
I took a trip down memory lane, and honestly I do not remember most of the you. Not your fault. It was the Air Force. Niceville was the second school where I got to attend two years in a row. That was another side benefit of the Air Force - I skipped a couple grades. I didn't turn 16 until my senior year. I took drivers ed with a bunch of freshmen. That's why I rode my bike. I wanted the independence of transportation, and didn't want to ride the bus any more.
How about all those clothes I used to make for myself? My big bell bottom jeans made from flags, or my tie-dye tee shirts? I used to catch a lot of crap at school, but when I took them to the beach, I sold every one of them. I think I wore out my mothers sewing machine. And her stainless steel pots. And her wooden spoons. It was a blast.
