Bill's Story

After retiring from law enforcement (29 yrs) I decided to try the "sweet" life. In 2000 my wife Pam and I purchased a small chocolate factory in Paradise Ca. Our business is named Joy Lyn's Candies. We celebrated the businesses 40th anniversary in 2009.. It's a sweet business. We make over 70 candies the old fashion way - cooked in copper kettles using only the finest ingredients. Our newest product, jalapeno beer brittle, was a 1st place international award winner in Dearborn Michig...Expand for more
an last June. It is made with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and can be found in the gift shop at Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico and at their new store in N. Carolina. It is also available in Red Bluff and Redding at Enjoy the Store. And, of course you will find it at Joy Lyn's Candies. Come and visit and watch us making candy.
