Bill's Story
After a year at Oregon State University and almost a second year at Portland State, I joined the Air Force in 1969 and retired as an E-7 MSgt in 1989. During the service I met and married Tammy Keller from Lake Oswego. We have been married 36 years now and we have 7 sons and one daughter. My youngest son, Jordan, was critically injured in Operation Iraq Freedom and died at Brook Army Hospital in Texas on Dec. 5, 2006. Tammy and I have a great life with all our children grown and supplying us with 11 grandchildren so far. That's with two sons not married...Expand for more
yet. I received by Bachlors degree in Manufacturing Engineering in 1980 and my Masters of Systems Management in 1986. I started my work in the Boeing company on the B-2 program. Then when that began to wind down I transfered to Everett. I have worked as a Manufacturing Engineer on the 747, 767 & 777 at the Boeing Company for the last 18 years. I really enjoy the work. I love to fish and enjoy boating and fishing the local lakes. One of my sons had a band for 5-6 years and had some local success in the Bend, Oregon area. They were called SIMONSOMETHING.
