Wm Clark's Story
Workplace
After high school, I attended the Univ of Mississippi until 1966 when I entered the Navy as an Ensign. Four years and three tours in Nam later, I joined the Deerfield Beach Police Department, Florida, where I worked in Road Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Marine Patrol and SWAT Team, eventually making Lieutenant. I stayed in the Naval Reserve until 1978, retiring as a LCDR. In 1990, the police department was taken over by the Broward County Sheriff's Office (BSO). There I worked in Road Patrol, Crime Scene Investigations and Port Everglades Harbor Security Patrol. As of April 28th, 2006, I have retired after 35 plus years and we have moved to St. George, Utah. See you there.

e U. of Miss. and this year we will have been together for 43 years. We have two married sons and two grandsons who still live in Florida.
In Utah I am "working" as a volunteer for the St. George Police Department and I also volunteered with the Washington County Search and Rescue's Dive Team and Ground Search Team. Sharon is still writing for a company that does capital campaign fund-raising for non-profit organizations.
Dec 25, 2010, Sharon passed away from her heart condition. Due to economic factors, I will be staying in Utah and visiting the kids/grandkids when I can.
Met a wonderful lady, Sandy Carty, here in St. George and we got married April 25, 2014. She has a son and daughter here and a son in Wisconsin. 11 grandkids for her and three for me.
