Addendum July 2001 - I can't believe I'm the only one who's figured out how to write one of these profiles!
Addendum July 2008 - I have a new nickname. Yo-yo Man! All the years of Basketball have taken a toll on my knees so I've taken up a new sport that doesn't require any running. I travel to schools and Libraries and do Yo-yo demonstrations. I have over 14 hundred yo-yos in my collection. Another activity I've taken up in the last 3 years is Geocaching. Check out Geocaching.com for details. My Geocaching name is Yoyo Man. Look me up.

over 10 years since I last posted something here so let me catch you up. Those 2 provincial championships in volleyball I mentioned is now 8. I stepped down from Senior boys to coach my grand-daughter's junior girls team. That should keep me busy for a few more years (have coached SHSAA teams for 52 years now). My son Jeremy got married and I now have 2 grandsons. One is just about 2 years old and the other was born just last week. My son is a pasty white red head and his wife is as black as you can be. You can imagine how beautiful their two boys turned out :) I manage to keep busy driving my grand-daughter to all her activities (Dance, volleyball, basketball, water-polo, fastball) and like to go on road trips all over N. America. Saw Willie Nelson live at Austin City Limits last year. Had one knee replaced about 9 years ago and suffer from the usual ailments of someone in their 70's but otherwise feeling pretty good. Be sure to say "hi" if you read this, I like to hear from the old MRCI gang.
