Bill's Story
I married Shirley Young (SR.71) in 1973 and moved to the DFW Metroplex to finish my education in 1978.
I've been in the architectural profession since 1982. I've also been involved with real estate sales and home building.
We moved to Arlington in 1984 and have a teenage son about to graduate from high school next year.
Shirley's been with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram since 1981. As a staff writer she's been anything...Expand for more
from a music critic to an educational writer.
As an advocation I'm a free-lance writer with a specialization towards the automotive industry. Currently I have several book on-going projects in the works that are more historical in nature.
We're both now in semi-retirement, where Shirley continues to write as a freelancer. I still maintain an architectural practice, and plans to move to Arizona are still in the works.
