Bill's Story
After finishing Teacher Certification requirements at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids in 1993, I spent one year in West Michigan area substituting. I have been teaching at Wiggs Middle School in El Paso since 1994. Hired as the Vocal and General Music teacher, over 1000 students had gone through the program in the 8 years I taught those subjects. In 2003 I began teaching a career orientation curriculum helping kids think and plan seriously for future careers. It's a lot of fun teaching this course, but I certainly miss the music education.

dge Baptist Church, Glenna participates regulary in the worship team and I perform special music occasionally at a local church here in El Paso. We have no children, but the two dogs we adopted in 2003 from animal rescue have filled that position. Although well-behaved, they definitely are spoiled, getting to sleep on beds, laps and some furniture. Fortunately, they don't shed much.
I completed a third Masters degree in Dec. 07 -- this one in Educational Leadership -- and am applying to opening Assistant Principal positions in the area.
