Bill's Story
Life
Greetings: After RUHS I went to Bezerkley (UC-Berkeley) with Skip Barrows (I think he teaches now at Pinole High) and our math teacher (Mr. Lawton - RUHS made him realize that grad school is better than teaching HS). After graduating I went to UWM (Uni of Wisc - Milwaukee) as a TA and liked the teaching so much I taught high school in Medford, NJ. After 1 year of hell (teaching is great, living withthe HS administators is not) I decided that money is nice, so I went into Software in Virginia Beach. 1 year passed and I had to get away from the EAST - started working in Anaheim for the next 5 years in Software. After making the decision to go into acting I left Anaheim, moved to LA and worked on building a money supply by contracting. As the contract finished I got a contract request from Europe. Being commited to go into acting (and starve I'm sure), I took the contract & went to "the old country" for 2 years. Upon return in 1982 (with my French fiance in hand) I took a job in Silicon Valley and am still here. My work has included many companies (Lockheed, Seagate, Panasonic, etc.) both as an employee and as a ...Expand for more
contractor (there's that word again). Currently I am working for Snap-On Diagnostics but I am trying to start a new company (hey this is .com county). I am married and have 2 daughters - in fact my second (Yaelle) is having her Bat Mitzvah on 7/15/00. This is all up to now.
3/10/01 - Something new has happened ... at the reunion of Sept, 2000 Carol Bryan (also in our class) bumnped into me ... actually she flew down from Oregon & I picked her up at the Oakland airport. 3 week ago Carol arrived in my driveway in a U-Haul van with all the "important" stuff she had in her Lincoln City, Oregon house (it is still for sale if you are interested) and proceeded to move into my house. Luckly I had begun divorce proceedings 4 months earlier so her morality remained intact. As more happens I will write more.
1/3/06 - Time moves on - Carol & I split up 2 years ago (yes friends, Love is STILL hard to find), the dotcom came and went and I left the software engineering world - now I partially own a recycling company!! I am trying to keep the worls livable AND make a living Still looking for Love in all the wrong places too ... ce le gare!
