Bill's Story
Still in AZ. After HS started working. Got into computers at Valley Bank and stayed involved throughout my career.
As a mainframe systems programmer, went to China in 1981 as a part of team that installed the first computer in that country. Big Phun.
I retired from Intel in 2002 after 23 years of project and functional management and built a place in Strawberry, AZ. After that I started a small video production company (mediawithmeaning.com).
My son Bryan went to Camelback and the teachers we shared later confided in me that they did not hold that against him (or me).
I built an airplane in my garage in 1995. It was a fabric and frame kit with a high wing and 65HP pusher. I certified it as a homebuilt and won Grand Champion of my class with it in the Copperstate Air Show that year.

I wonder about both grade school and high school classmates. Names like Arnie Becker, Susan Whitfill, Wayne Long, Jeanne Rose, Tom Fisher and Bernie Micucci wander through my head when I watch a nostalgia program on PBS.
The only time I truly relax is over a pint with fish and chips while visiting my friend in northern England. For the most part, my wife Deb and I spend our time between Strawberry and the Valley with our two dogs (red and blue heelers) and a few chickens.
OTHER: I love photography and video, flying, fishing and gardening. In my spare time I have become internationally recognized as the creator of designer shower curtains made from recycled corduroy. I know where every item is in the supermarket. I have also performed open heart surgery and can bake 30 minute brownies in 15 minutes. Everything else is just hearsay.
