Lived all over the world since Dad was in Army. I was Navy as they paid for college. Married Lillian. Started teaching in Kentucky and doing theater, then taught in Texas and now in The Netherlands. (GREAT to hear from former students!) Two sons growing up too fast, one graduated with masters' this year and is working in Germany, both terrific soccer players.
Sing a lot, including on the bill with Herman's Hermits. Coached a lot, including basketball, soccer and track. Competed in Master's World Championship for track, summer 2005, as part of Team USA and was even asked to run in the 4X100 relay. When I get back in shape, hope to medal. Had one "monster" jump in the the triple jump, but was barely a foul. :(
Was teaching English at a Dutch college prep high school, which was selected as the top high school in The Netherlands, two years running. Girls asked me to coach them in basketball and we won the city championships twice. Have also won several boys' volleyball crowns with different age groups.

Took a break from teaching in 2010 and went to NYC to act at a more serious level. Did about five shows, including one at a Broadway theater and a couple of commercials. Got national tour of "Fiddler on the Roof," ended in May of 2012.
Feel like I scratched off "theater" from my bucket list...but will continue to write plays, musicals and songs.
Ran the school weightroom for a couple of years in the Netherlands and returned to teaching in 2016 in Kazakhstan, Montenegro, Ukraine (left right before the war), and am now in Malta. In Ukraine, also acted in the YouTube channels called DramatizeMe for six clips, with one monologue cut from the longer clip, which got 13 million views.
No acting now, just teaching and coaching volleyball four afternoons/evenings a week. Next year, I will teach 6th grade exclusively as this year, I teach one subject each for 7th to 10th grades, making for lots of planning.
Most fun thing to do is serve on a church's worship team, something I've done every year for about 20 years now.
