Bill's Story
This'll be short and 'sweet'. After graduation; continued working at Queen of Angels Hospital, attended LA City College, LA State, worked and fell in love with Montana in '61, returned and stayed in '62. Worked in education, sawmills, as a Forest Service trail crew foreman, and finally as a timberfaller. Married my first wife in '63; 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. r children. We live on 4.5 acres, have recently hired a carpenter and built our own house, shop, garage, barn, cabinets, and did all the interior finish work for each. We plant and harvest a goodly size organic garden and 120 ft of raspberries every year. My friends from earlier days marvel at the change in lifestyle that has happened. We find time to play heavy duty ping pong, Contra dance, hike, cross-country ski, and fish the local lakes and streams. Sometimes we feel like we live in paradise.
