Life I was born in November 1941 at Sac City, IA. (Delivered at home in a house in the cemetery. How ironic is that)? Mom & dad raised my younger 2 brothers and 3 sisters on a farm 5 miles West of Wall Lake, IA. I graduated from Wall Lake High in 1959. I attended A.I.B. business school in Des Moines. Eventually, my buddy and I were looking for work. We stopped by the Citizens Bank in Storm Lake to say hi to someone he knew there. While he was doing that, I decided I may as well fill out an application. When I returned to Wall Lake later that day, I had a message from the Storm Lake bank noting they would like to interview me. I accepted the offer to be a bank teller. While the job was low pay, an initially unknown benefit surfaced. Love at first sight! After my earlier in life experience, I was unsure how to proceed but eventually, I did ask for a date and to my most pleasant surprise, Karaan accepted.
