Bill's Story
Well, let's see..........After graduating from Central, I went off to attend Bradley University in Peoria, Il, where I met a beautiful young woman whom I married in 1978. That same year, I took a job with the Boeing Co. in Wichita, Ks, and we have been here ever since. We have two wonderful daughters who have kept our lives quite full and rewarding.
In 2005, Boeing divested itself of several of it's major manufacturing facilities, including the facility in Wichita. When the dust settled, Boeing Wichita had become Spirit Ae...Expand for more
rosystems. I chose to stay in Wichita, and so am now an employee of Spirit. My work for Boeing and Spirit as a Structures Engineer has been interesting, and challenging...........but quite boring to the majority of folks. During my 32 years I've worked on a lot of Boeing's commercial planes including Air Force One, the 737, 757, 767, 777, and most recently the new 787 and 747-8.
I hope life has been good to all, and that I am able to re-connect with folks I've not seen or visited with for many, many years. Drop me a note.
