Bill's Story

Life Three times married, divorced as many times. still puts me in the married business, with children. Kids range in ages from 19 to 40 + four of them all together. There’s Bill, James, Daniel, and Analissa,. By now, I’'ve accumulated a fair amount of experience points. Got the been-there tee-shirts by the trunk load. Did Vietnam, caught Malaria in the Amazon, had a horse fall on me in Yorba Linda, and those divorces sure left marks. I'’m retired teacher these days, and have a one-acre ranchito in Yucaipa. Lived in Brazil for six years where I taught photography at an American school for the rich children of diplomats. There, I taught students who were off to Yale, now I ended my career teaching in jail. I met ex wife Elisabeth down in Brazil. We adopted Daniel and Analissa there and rescued them from a life in a third-world mud huts. My beard turns white. Sam Gosney, retail merchandising, and Tony Freeman, the photography teacher, really made a difference in my life. Would I do it all over again? Yea, why...Expand for more

If I could live life a second time around I'd buy an orange grove or six, keep the old farm-steads and fill the barns with the cars from Anaheim High School's parking lot. I'd encourage my folks to buy that 40-acre ocean front plot we looked at in San Clemente back in 1957. I'd do a whole lot of things like worry, drink, and work in much smaller portions. I'd do other things in much greater amounts. I'd study more and actually prepare for college instead of tripping off to Fullerton College without math or English skills. Oh, and in the more category, I'd have made it an all out effort to have spent a good deal more quality time with each and every friend in high school. Well all that has changed since I wrote that five or six years back. I now live in Yucaipa, ca. I'm single again. My daughter lives with me. My son lives with his mom in Laguna Hills. I may be named as pope. No word yet, so I tend my mini ranch of--Enjoying retirement.
