Bill's Story
Hi All,
Later in 1964 I attended Sierra College, in Rocklin majoring in Forestry Management. Summer of '65 provided an invitation to join the Army, however I had been in the Civil Air Patrol for many years, so I enlisted in the USAF. Jumping two paygrades. After a short stint in Roswell, NM, the whole shop was sent to Vietnam. I ended up on an Army advisory team to the South VN Army in the Mekong delta. Surviving that year, I was sent to England, then to Germany. Where part of what I did involved working in East Germany.

ext 18 years mainly in Germany and Norway. I participtated in the first gulf war then retured to Incline Village, NV. As a transition program, the government sent me through teacher's education and a degree in Special Education. I taought SE at Incline HS for 14 years. Having married an Aussie I met on R&R, retirement to Australia was the next and present stop on my adventure. Just when I thought I was finished with teaching, with in a month of arrival I was back in the classroom teaching Math, Science and History until end of 2021. So there you have it, along with this red line I cannot get rid of. I think of the first four years of BV, our four years mostly with fondness.
