Bill's Story
Life
I live in Rochester, MI, about 25 miles straight north of Detroit, with my wife Linda. We have two sons, Brett and Derek, ages 26 and 24. Brett is a second year optometry student in Memphis, TN and Derek is working on a masters at Ball State. I am a Staff Research Engineer at General Motors R&D Center, and Linda is director of publications at our church.

e and then did graduate work at Purdue. Following that was a hitch in the Army (yes, Vietnam) as a Signal Corps officer. Met Linda in Buffalo, NY -- the site of my first job out of the Army -- in 1972. We came here in 1983. Rochester is a great place to live, with lots of lakes and parks nearby and lots of things to do. As empty nesters we have two spare bedrooms most of the time.
