Prior to that, I served seven years as media director for a 24-country region then served seven years as Director of Development and PR at the Nairobi International School of Theology, a master's level seminary training leaders for the African church.
Between 1983 and 1989, before I left for Kenya, I earned a journalism degree at SFA, where I met Jesus, then worked as a writer, PR person for several years before earning a master's in journalism from Baylor University.
