Bill's Story
It's been 48 years since we all left East. How quickly time passes . . . so I thought it was well past time to check back to see what's been happening since then. I'm glad that I discovered this site and that so many of my classmates have registered here.
After graduating from East, I went to Miami University (B.A., English) and then headed out of state to southern California where I got a law degree and became an "L.A. Lawyer." (No, there was no drama of the TV trial lawyer. I just wrote briefs and petitions in federal and state courts of appeal.)
A few years ago I retired from appellate law practice to focus on art, my true passion, and returned to school, earning an AA degree in art....Expand for more
I now live with my wife of 38 years in Orange County, about 50 miles south of L.A., not far from the beach. We like overseas travel, and have been to Hong Kong, China, Italy, and Hungary. But, as we are inveterate Francophiles, our favorite country for many repeat visits has been la belle France (ah, the food, the art, the café life!).
In my free time, when I'm not helping my teacher wife with school events, taking care of my mom, or working out at the gym, I like to copy paintings of the Old Masters (late 19th - early 20th C. French), or work on interior design projects.
