Bill's Story

Just celebrated my 80th birthday on February 28, 2015 by flying a World War II P-51 Mustang out of Kissimmee, Florida with Stallion 51. I loved every minute of the the 1 hour flight experience where I did loops, rolls and other aerobatics. Can't wait to go back for another flight. I've posted 15 videos of the experience on YouTube.. search "DREAM FLIGHT - 80TH BIRTHDAY" *** Bill is from Higginsville, Missouri where he attended Emerson Elementary School. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1953 and immediately began working for the Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, Missouri helping to build the B-47 bomber wing for Boeing. In September 1953, Bill received notification from his "Draft Board" that his number would be coming up soon. Rather than be drafted into the Army or Marine Corps Bill elected to join the United State Air Force . He was discharged from the USAF on June 28, 1957 and began working for Eastern Airlines as a Mart...Expand for more

One of Bill's favorite quotes is:"It's you Attitude that determines your Altitude!" I've posted photo albums that some might find interesting.

Treated myself to a Beef Souvlaki dinner today at the Yeero Village following my record setting walk where I crossed the three (3) million step mark using the Samsung Health app. It's my favorite Greek restaurant in the are
