GW Bill's Story
School
Right after high school, I entered the Montana State University, Missoula (Now U Of MT) I got involved in fraternity social activities and partying more than was good for me. After Fall and Spring quarters, I was invited to lay off or go elsewhere. I did both. I worked summer and fall and entered MT State College (Now MSU) in Bozeman. I could still party, but got more serious about studies. I hit History, Business, and economics mostly, without a goal in mind. When my fiance, Donna Osburn, graduated and started teaching I quit attending college, and got my Military career with the Montana Air National Guard going. I also worked for Donna's folks in their pest control business. We married in 1963, and after two years and too much family at work and away from work, I spent two years as an accountant for the MT Air Guard. In 1966 I went to work for NCR as a programmer installer, and soon was a senior salesman, selling bank equipment and accounting systems in all areas of business.

was a private lumber broker and sales representative for four years while I helped with the management of the pest control business. We sold the pest control business to Orkin in 1976, and managed five states for them for the next eleven years. In 1988 I started five pest control companies in Montana and Wyoming and sold them to the managers I had trained for them.
I renewed my church attendance in 1980 and studied to become a lay speaker in the United Methodist Church, filling pulpits when the pastors were gone. In 1992 I married my wife Jane, and we decided to go full time ministry. I returned to college obtaining a BS in Human Servies from the University of Great Falls in 1995 and completed a year long chaplain internship at the MT Deaconess Hospital. Jane and I have served churches in Dillon, Chinook, Sand Coulee and Belt, and are now at Hobson and Moore near Lewistown, MT. I completed Seminary work at Claremont School Of Theology in Southern California in 1999, having spent six summers in the process.
