Billie's Story
After graduating from HHS, I married and had two children, a son and daughter. I was a stay-at-home Mom until my children went to school. I tried dental assisting for a year and did not like it. At age 19, I was babtized and joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. I began serving in the children's ministry. Eventually I began teaching Kindergarten in an Adventist Church School. I loved it. 25 years later I'm still teaching Kindergarten in the same school and still loving it. Both my children married and have given me 3...Expand for more
grandchildren. I live close to them and see them everyday and I couldn't imagine not living near and being able to see them whenever I want. I believe in the Adventist health message- diet, exercise, water, fresh air, rest, abstenence from achohol & tobacco, caffeine, and spiritual devotion. I believe the Bible is the supreme authority of God's Word and has all the answers to happiness and peace in this life and eternity. I credit God for helping me weather the storms in my life thus far and for all the blessings I enjoy.
