We recently moved to the Elk Grove-Sacramento area and enjoy the warm weather here. We just bought a boat and plan to do a lot of boating this summer on the many lakes and rivers here. We love the outdoors and we try to go camping at least once a year with all of the family. We just became the proud grandparents of twin baby boys and we spoil them equally.
School
Mr Martino inspired me the most because he always made me laugh. He was so little. My science teacher, Mr. Merrill, he was great! He made science bearable. I was his TA, which meant I got to set up the projects for the classroom...Expand for more
and correct tests, etc. His stories and humor got me through science. I didn't try out for anything. I do remember when Mrs. Athos made me paint the background of my "still life" painting very dark and I hated it. She liked it so much she hung it up in the attendance office. After a few visits there, I started to like it a lot. I remember buying "fudges" at lunch time or after school. They where really good. If anyone has the recipe, let me know OK. I remember how sad I felt on graduation day. I looked forward to that day coming since the beginning of my Junior year but when that day actually came, I was so depressed. I felt like I was losing my best friend. I got over that feeling quick. It's amazing what a good party can do for that kind of thing.
