Billy's Story
After I graduated from Ritenour, I began a 5 year enlistment in the US Navy. I was a 2nd Class Petty Officer (E-5) and my occupation was Radarman. I spent a year in Vietnam both on land and on the USS Oxford - a spy ship. I also spent 2 years in New Orleans aboard the USS Hyman DD-732, a Reserve Destroyer..
I met my wife Ann in 1967 and we were married in 1968. We've been married for 47 years and have three sons. Two live in the Minneapolis, MN area and one lives in Portland, OR. We have one Granddaughter, Hazel, who is 2-1/2 years old.

Journalist, Radio Announcer, TV Anchorman, Broadcast Systems Engineer, Computer Programmer, Computer Technician, and for a couple of years, I was the Music Department Manager at a Barnes & Noble in Apple Valley, MN.
My wife and I retired in 2007 and moved from Minnesota to Troy, MO, so My wife could be back among her many brothers and sisters. We live on 26 acers.
My activities include avid reading, gardening, some farming, listening to Classical Music, especially Operas, RV'ing in our 5th Wheel and hanging out with my Old English Sheepdog, Rosie, and she is my big baby!
