Billy's Story
Life
I went to Smiley High but did not finish there.I lived on East Houston Rd.down by Eastover & Sunbury, My dad had a used car lot and auto parts(junk yard) called Hall's and sons Auto Parts. I worked there until i went into the U.S Army Reserves (National Guard)in 1959.I got my GED later. "I remember most all of you guys,"@SDI. I have four children three girls and one boy. I have nine grandkids, six great grandbabies. Barbara Ann(Logan)Hall my wife passed away in July 2003.We were married for 22 years. We had six children between us 4&2,we had none of our own. I live alone except for my dog "Shillo". I am a ordained Pentcostal Church of God minister-- since 1986. I like the outdoors,tv,cooking for someone special,visting,traveling and just staying home.
I am 63 years old, 64 in December 2006 .I am simi/retired now(I do evanglisted preaching when called upon)...Expand for more
. Before i was a minister, I worked as a pipefitter/welder for 30 years, my last job was at the Port of Houston, I built the gear to load /unload the ships and repaired the broken equipment and even did some vessel repair on some ships while they were docked there.----I worked the ship channel area from Beaumont to Houston & in between and offshore and a few shipyards thru the years.
At this time in life i am in good health with a glitch here and there. I am enjoying this retirement age, counting on it lasting a long time. I know that we have till the Lord's returns and i know that i have made Heaven my home and i pray that all@ SDI and others who reads this short account of my life will have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour by inviting Him into your heart, come in Lord Jesus today,Amen.
