Billy's Story
Dang guy"s. I don"t know if there is enough room to give any account of my life. I worked in the auto paint body shops in Texarkana for 12 years , Then went to the oilfields. I went to work for Halliburton services in 1974,and went overseas. I stayed for 12 years and loved it.I worked and lived in England,The Netherlands,Germany,Denmark,Scotland,Wales ,Libya,Trinadad,Bileze,Brazil,Venesulia,Then moved to Austrialia and worked there and New Zealand,Tasmainia,I came home when the oilfield died off in 1986 ,started trucking and have been at that for 23years now.Lots of fun,get to see the USA.Oh yea I" m still crazy as hell.I"ve Drank a lot of good whiskie and smoked some good pot,had alot of fun.If I die Tomorrow,I"ve had alot of fun. I"ll add more later folks. Hi guys, It's nov. 7 I just got home a few hours ago and have to go out again tommorow, when I get a chance I'll tell you about my six wifes. That should keep everyone checking back. What do you think!Hi folks, it"s May 18,2010, Haven"t got around to adding to this story yet ,But heres a news flash, I got a call from my first wife about a week ago! First I"ve heard of her in at least 40 years.She had run into my second wife at a garage sale and thought she would call and check on me. Imagine That! Oh well,I"ll add more when I have time. Hi folks,It"s March 25 ,2012..I"m sitting in Baytown,Tx. just killing time. Guess I"ll add something to this story.My first wife was Miss Donna Lacefield from Arkansas side of town.She and I were way to young to marry and a short time proved that to be true.Loved her tho and she was a beautiful girl and still looks good today. WE only held things together for 2 years. Then came wife #2 ,Miss Connie Johnson from Arkansas High School . WE made it for 7 years and have one child ,Johnny Porter of Texas High School. He is 46 years old now ,Has two kids and one grandchild. Wife #3 was Miss Doritha Hedrick from Texas High School ,I should not have done it, About 2 years.then I moved on. I went to work for Halliburton and moved to Wyoming, Miss Alice Patterson from Arkansas High School followed me out there And we married in 1975.I should not have done that either.She turned out to be a Real Harpy! 5 Long ,long years. She moved to England and then The Neatherlands with me and then back to the States ,Then to court. I stayed in the states for a couple of years working 28&28 doun in Brazil. I married wife #5 ,Miss Teddie Law from Texas High Scool in Feb. 1983 and we moved to Australia & lived & worked there for 3 1/2 years. We came back to the states in 1986 when the oilfield slowed down so much that I could"nt get a new contract to stay there.I had found someone who could put up with me.In DEC. 1998 Teddie had a heart attack and died. So ,I"m back to square one. I hung out till 2002 when I married a close friend of Teddie "s Miss Annette Black from Arkansas High School .I found another tough one, She puts up with me most of the time. Well we are up to date. I"m still trucking and we have nine rent houses to take care of.I would retire,But, I would have to put up with renters. If any thing new comes along I"ll add it on here. Hey guys, It"s 9/11/13. I"m in eastern Tennesee . Just got off the phone. Had to put my wife in a nursing home. Not a good day ! August 21 ,2015 Wife #6 Annette Black Porter died at 7 am . Don"t know whats next. Hey guys, It"s April 24, 2018, I"m still working full time, No reason, I just don"t know how to stop working. I went to work at 13 and I"M still at it. I have never retired, so, I don"t know how. Maybe I"ll learn before I die. I"m still buying Houses and driving Trucks, G uess it will work it"s self out someday. Hi guys, Well it"s March 1 ,2021. Thought I would add a little to the story.I"m 74 years old,finnaly retired 2years ago. Except for the 13 houses I own for rent property. They keep me running all the time. I bought a winniebago two years ago. It has set in my yard the last two years. Haven"t even backed out of the driveway. Maybe I"m not cutout for retirement Been thinking about going back to work. Not thinking very hard tho. May buy somemore houses. Maybe not., too much work. Thought about buying A harley. But , I use to ride bikes, And I remember all the times I hit the pavement when I was in my 20s and 30s. Then I hit the road and bounced. Now I would hit and shatter. Oh well, Got to find something fun to do. Well if I live over this.I"ll Add too this and let you in on the solution. Bye for now.
