Blue's Story

Life After attending University High School 70-71 & 71-72 I moved into the city (not by choice) and took my senior year at Shadle Park. I joined the Navy for 3 years after graduation, married and traveled around the country for many years before settling down in New York with my family. I graduated college May 2004 with a BS in Professional and Technical Communication(communications, graphic & web design). The day after graduation I gave myself a graduation present and moved from NY to St. Petersburg, Florida...no job, no place to live, just went. My son was already in St. Pete going to college and my feeling was, "Why should he have all the fun!!!" I sold my house and everything I owned and totally started over. It worked out...I'm still alive! I have been in contact with a few friends from U-Hi. Joan Benson and I exchange Christmas cards. d emailing. I've touched base with Ann Blazovich and Shirley Musgrove again from University. Also Colleen Crowley, Leah Chapman and I planned a trip to visit Ann in Hawaii but alas...life interrupted. Now I'm starting to do business with Ann. She owns a limo company and I plan medical events and need car service. A perfect match! One of these days Ann, I'll make it out to see you. From Shadle I've found friends I used to hang with; Linda Caul, Sandy Grow and Mike Reynolds. It's great to touch base with everyone again. My latest greatest accomplishment is that I've lost over 100 pounds and feel and look great. I'm a new person and enjoying life through a new pair of eyes! There are so many people I remember from school. If anyone emails me (ThinkWarm(at)aol(dot)com) put the school in the subject line so I don't think it's junk mail. It will be good to hear from you.
