Life
Blynda Kellem is Blynda Kellner after having been married for 16 years in May 2005. Darrell and I have two great children, Amanda(15) and Aaron(10). After having been an assistant teacher for 3 years, 1 in Tupelo and 2 in Southaven, MS, I took a break to be a stay at home child care provider. Another reason I gave up the assistant job is because the bone disorder that I had made it very difficult to walk and painful. The babysitting came to an end when I illustrated my first children's book. As a result of the book, I was asked if I would come back to school and teach art for their kindergarten through 5th grade. Since I have a scooter that I use to get around now, I was very eager to go back.

ing teaching art for now, but hope to put the illustrating career on the front burner soon.
Update: April 19, 2006
This will be my last year at the school teaching art. I have decided to pursue the illustrating career and possibly start a t-shirt design business. I am ready to work from home again, as life is getting busy, busy, busy. My son is going to Washington D.C. in May with his 5th grade Spotlight group, and he & Darrell are going on a scout camping trip for 10 days in Dallas, TX this summer. My 15 year old has decided that she just has to have a job this summer(not much available for that age group), and she just has to get her driver's permit. Then we have to get her a passport, because she is going to Europe next Spring with her high school's art club. They will be visiting London & Paris.
