Life Upon graduating from Hauppauge, I enlisted in the US Air Force. One of the best ways to get out of NY, and the best way to get to California. One of the best decisions of my life, as it has changed and shaped me into the husband, and father I am today. Travis AFB, Ca. was my first duty assingment, after training as an aircraft mechanic at Chanute Field,Rantoul,Ill. After 4 yrs in Ca., I decidede to stay and make Ca. my home. After a short stint in Police work,I worked as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Sacramento County for 3yrs. I couldn't give up my dream of flying airplanes, so I got a job at the local airport as a janitor and thus continued to pursue my aviation career.
