Bob's Story
After graduation I attended Erie Community College and got my AAS in Mechanical Technology. I had a winning draft lottery # so I joined the Air Force. I was lucky and served my 4 yrs in Montana and California (1970 -1974)working on the Minuteman Missile Systems as an electronic technician. In 1972 I married Pat. Once out of the military, we moved to Rochester,NY. I started working as an electronics tech at a local company I worked there over thirty years , retired in 2005 and thanks to the market, am back working there full time again. Pat and I split up and got divorced in 1979. I had been in a rock band "Euphoria" and in 1981 married Cathy, the lead singer. 27 years later and we're still going strong. We w...Expand for more
ere in the band for 15 yrs. We still perform as a singing duo "Hymn & Her". Instead of the smokey barrooms and late nights cranking out rock tunes, we now sing mainly for senior citizens groups, assisted living centers and some festivals. We sing old standards, Contemporary Christian, Broadway hits and still some of the softer rock. The main difference is that our "groupies" now use walkers. Cathy already had a daughter when we married. Julie has been the joy of our lives and now with her husband, Jamey, has given us two grandsons - Jordan & Devin. Cathy and I live on a small farm in Newark, NY. Our horses are gone now and we're contemplating moving in the near future. All in all what a wonderful life so far.
