Ron's Story
I was all over the place in 72'/'73. Not out of necessity, but being a person of the times. I lived in my van for several months that fall... until it got cold. Made for a good parking spot at school though.
I have a 33 year old daughter that graduated from Sarah Lawrence and earned her masters at Yale in Forestry, currently doing research in Brazil.
I have a 14 year old son that went to Travis (now a model school) who knew? Attended Lanier Middle School and Hogg Middle School, now attending Reagan High.
I know. Big spread. More wives than kids. Whole other story.
I've moved back into the old family home on Norhill at the esplanade and renovating the bungalow.
My Mom was raised there, me, my daughter and now my son.

1983. began in the industry in 1975.
We did pretty good. Very competitive facilities here and a company in Minneapolis handling large commercial and retail accounts. Then 2001 one hit. One right after the other. 9/11, hurricane and Enron, combined results, kicked our teeth in. Anyway, dumped the out-of-state facility and downsized here. All in all, a blessing in disguise. I have a small studio and a couple of edit bays and couldn't be happier. Low stress and freedom to take 'em or leave 'em.
Lucky to get to travel quite a bit. Been all over, from Indonesia, to the Arab Emirates, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, UK, France, Australia and bunches more. Mostly business, but I try to make it work out, with at least a few days extra in each location.
