Bob's Story
Life
Married Brenda Kay Harris in 1987.
Moved to North Carolina in 1995, living in Mebane NC still.
Two kids, Benjamin (10) and Beth (7).
One dog, a chocolate lab mix named Brandy.
We're known to many as the B-Team.
Active in our church.
Like shooting, especially old guns.
Cub scout leader.
Learned to fly, and loved it, but don't do it anymore. (We've got kids instead of money.)
Working for Highmark Companies, Inc, as a Program Manager. I'm a general-purpose computer geek. Have served as a programmer, database administrator, business analyst, system...Expand for more

During my time as a consultant, I've done projects in State Government, telecommunications, Railroads, and Healthcare. Lots of fun and never boring.
Military
U.S. Navy 1975 - 1979.
Assisted in construction, outfitting and commissioning of a brand new aircraft carrier CVN-69, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Then served aboard her for the rest of my four-year hitch.
Long periods of boredom, punctuated by short periods of sheer terror.
Lots of fun, but not fun enough to stay.
Got me started in my career.
