Bob's Story
Life
In June of 1965 we all said goodbye to old KHS and headed down the road of life. I'd had a terrific three years in High School. So much fun then, great music, great friends, cute girl friends and so many fond memories. The Thunderbird Drive In, Ameches, Loch Raven Sub Races, Hawthorne Teen Center. But I had no idea where I was headed. I knew I'd miss Pete Huntley, Bobby Murphy, Robo Eric, Dennis Arnold, Billie Bell, Mike mays, Dick Murphy, Dave Sexton, Howard Zackman and so many other great guys. And, of course I'd miss all the girls. That Wilson Point crowd especially and Linda Rehan, Davette Pitts, Bettye Cunningham, Linda Miller, Sandy Faulst, Carol Adkins, Sharon Spath, Judy Rosengarn, Kathy Trafton, Gail Page, Linda Smith, Denise Dawson, Joan Hall and so many more! Well, off I went to work at the Chevrolet plant for a brief period but then that Vietnam War really got going so I enlisted in the Military Police.Spent the next three years in the Army and never got near Vietnam. They sent me to Germany! During that Army stint, I married and then divorced my high school sweetheart Linda. Left the Army in 1969 and joined the Baltimore City Police. nd spent the next 31 years working there. A city of one hundred thousand across the bay from San Francisco. My wife Maurine and I had three children and a great life but as sometimes happens, grew apart and divorced in 1993. Along the way I graduated from Cal State University with a BA in Criminal Justice and then Golden Gate University with a Masters in Public Administration. Graduated from the FBI National Academy and the California Command College. I retired from Law Enforcement in May 2000 and since then I have been living the good life. I first worked part time at a Beautiful Champagne Winery in Napa Valley called Domaine Carneros. I was a tour guide and server there and loved the job. Now I work at Hess Collection Winery in Napa where I am a tour guide and host. I am also a Certified Sommelier and Professional Wine Educator. I Meet people from all over the world at the winery and it's the perfect part time occupation for a retired Cop. Hate to say it but I am still single. It's been 15 years wondering around in singledom. Would love to find that special someone but most likely all the great women are still far away from me in Maryland I'd love to hear from you. Drop me a line......remember this?
