After being uninvited for a second year, worked at C.R.Bard in New Providence (great job for someone looking for a good workout!); entered the Navy in Feb 67 at Great Lakes NTC, Illinois; met the wife in Milwaukee in May '67; Viet Nam "cruise" aboard USS New Jersey (BB 62) Sep '68 - Apr '69; married June '69 and moved to Long Beach, CA.
Out of the Nav in '70; community college in Milwaukee, University of Wisc-Milwaukee, grad May '74.
Re-entered the Navy in '76, separated in May '94; worked at Hughes Aircraft/Raytheon Co as tech writer, then promoted to Senior Systems Engineer in system test and integration . Retired from all forms of labor Jan '10. Loving it.

When my birth mother died, going through her stuff, they found a letter from the foundling which mentioned me and my younger sister.
So, I now have two sisters and a brother (he was the only child raised by our mother), and one of my sisters (the oldest child) lives about 12 miles from me along with scads of nieces and nephews within about 100 miles. Most of my interaction with the new family members has been with my older brother and younger sister. We had a big "reunion" with 30+ extended family members in Vegas in '18. Pretty exciting stuff. So if anyone's curious, Ancestry may provide answers. No guarantees, but...
