Apparently I was asked to tell about myself since leaving KTHS, so here goes. I enlisted in the USAF in November after graduation and married Connie Lasley from KTHS. Spent 21 1/2 years and retired as a SMSGT in May 1982. During those years I spent time in Japan, Okinawa,Phillippines,Tawain, Thailand, Spain, Turkey and lots of other "glamorus" places, accounting for 5 years total in SE Asia during the Vietnam Conflict. Most of my career was with the B-52 bombers with 5 years working in the super secret SR-71 program. I spent another year as a technical advisor to the Iranian Air Force at a place called Dezful which is located in the desert about 50K from the Iraq border. Both during and after my AF career, while stationed at Carswell AFB in FW Texas, I managed to get my BS and MS degree from Texas A&M and went to work for Tandy Corp as the Assistant GM to the Tandy Business Computer Division. AST Computers bought Tandy's computer division and I went to work for AST as their Director of Facilities and Real Estate. Later Samsung bought out AST and I worked for Samsung as their Director of Facilities and Real Estate Americas until 1999 when I went to work for Ameritrade, now TD Ameritrade since we aquired TD Waterhouse.
