Bob's Story
Life
Bob Cudmore is well known in Upstate New York from his work as a radio and television talk host, newspaper columnist, public relations practitioner, public speaker and educator.
In 2001, Cudmore began a new career, emphasizing media projects, writing and teaching. He is co-producing a television documentary on the history of the downtowns of Albany, Schenectady and Troy for WMHT public television. He writes columns on Fulton-Montgomery history and Upstate New York satire for the Sunday Gazette of Schenectady and teaches Introduction to Mass Media at the College of St. Rose. He does history features for WCSS radio in Amsterdam.

New York in 2000 and narrated the WMHT documentary, The Iron Horse in Schenectady in 2001.
From 1993 to 2001, he was a media relations professional at the State University of New York System Administration in Albany.
He hosted WGY radio's night-time talk show Contact from 1980 to 1993.
From 1969 to 1980, he was a radio personality at WBEC in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
He earned an M.A. and B.A. in English from Boston University.
A resident of Glenville, New York, Cudmore's family includes two grown children: Bob Cudmore, Jr., of Somerville, Massachusetts, and Kathleen R. Cudmore Bokan of West Charlton, New York. CudmoreÂs wife, Mary Pritchard Cudmore, was a popular trainer for Weight Watchers International. She died March 4, 2001.
