Moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida (just south of Jacksonville)
Married Peggy Stephens 1998 (First marriage for me, no children)
We have one little guy named Webster. He hasn't decided if he wants to be a cat or a dog. Like they say...'No outfit is complete without cat hair.' I currently work at Bank of America as a Senior Mortgage Underwriter. Peggy is a Mortgage Underwriter for Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corp. Inc.
We live about a 1/4 mile from the ocean just off A1A. Peggy enjoys the Spa life and I love golf and just being a kid. When people tell me to go fly a kite...I do. I'm looking to start a new hobby restoring classic cars to Street Rod's. First project will be 1929-1932 Ford Model A or Victoria. Don't tell Peggy.
My family still lives in Virginia whether Northern, Norfolk or Va Beach. All the next gen's are into careers, college or getting ready for college. They all make me very proud - Kathryn, Jennifer, Brittany, Derrick, Payton, Hillary, Brendon and Colle...Expand for more

We lost my older brother Steve Davenport (Class of '76 FHHS) to a heart attack in March of 2007. In August of 2008, his first grand child joined us in this world. You can see pictures of Haylee Michelle Davenport Jennings in some of our photos.
After Graduating in '77, I spent time in South Carolina chasing a music dream wanting to be the next Chuck Mangione or something like it. Played in the Augusta Symphony 1 year. Graduated instead with a Degree in Hospitality Management with specific training in Cooking. Worked Fish Market and other places in Old Town until that got old.
I spent a good part of the 80's and early 90's figuring out exactly what I want to be when I grow up. I found real estate industry in 1986 doing title abstract with Jim Reosti and then the mortgage industry in early 90's. I remember when the rates got real low (about 7 1/2%). People were refinancing their 13-17% rates left and right.
So far here is what I've figured out...it's okay to grow 'older' just not old.
