Bob's Story
God has blessed me with getting to try all of my childhood and teenage dreams for a career. I got to be a professional flutist, a school music teacher, a church choir director. After all of this ... and some service in advertising sales ... I was ready to do what God had planned for me and had called me to do ... pastor churches.
Honestly, I wasn't ready to be a pastor after graduating from college. Had I gone on to seminary directly, I couldn't have been a pastor. But after pursuing these other things, I was ready for seminary and for pastoring churches and people.
These are Pastor Bob's three foundation points of theology:

world isn't all there ever was, and it's not all there ever will be."
and
"The three historical periods of world history as revealed in the Bible are (1) the happy beginning, (2) this time of death, suffering, crying and pain, and (3) our choice of endings. Everything we need to know about Jesus Christ is found in studying these periods and transitions between these periods."
and
God offers to every human help with the struggles of this world and the choice of an ending where all these struggles will be called things of the past. For these two things Jesus came into the world and for these Jesus sends his followers into this world.
