Bob's Story
Been fairly lucky in being able to be involved in journalism since receiving journalism degrees from Orange Coast College and Long Beach State University so many years ago.
Have lived in the Austin, Texas area since 1991 with wife Kim and daughter Kyndall. We actually live in Dripping Springs, a somewhat rural suburb of big city Austin in the Texas hill country.
Kyndall turned 21 in February 2009 and is a junior at Texas Tech University. She spent her freshman year at Lander University in South Carolina after being recruited on a softball scholarship upon graduation from Dripping Springs High School where her softball team finished as the Texas state runnerup and she finished as 1st Team All-League all four of her high school years.

Long Beach State grad, owns a children's consignment store called Itsy Bitsy Spider in Dripping Springs.
As for me, I am the publisher of three community newspapers in the Austin metro area and now getting ready to add a fourth paper in Dripping Springs to have an office a little closer to home. Those who remember, I was very much involved in Paw Prints at Buena Park High so it's no surprise that I love what I do in the newspaper business.
Even though we're in the Austin area, a distance from the Texas coast, we do spend time in a vacation beach house in Port Aransas, Texas near Corpus Christi.
Now that I've got my Classmates account under the correct name and I can actually use after three plus years, would love to hear from fellow BPHS, Western and Kennedy grads.
