Bob's Story
I first lived on Hale Street in East London, and did K to grade 6 at Fairmont. After grade 6 my family moved to Westminster Park in South London and I did grade 7 and 8 at Wilton Grove. Grade 9 to 13 were at Laurier where I was one of the Arts and Science kids. I went to UWO for a year taking cafeteria and gym. For two years I did odd jobs, considered the RCMP and settled on being a naval officer in '74. After learning to drive a ship, I specialized in the exotics like diving and bomb disposal. g weird things for the Navy and in 2006 decided to retire, only to sign back up for 3 years... curently I am the commandant of a recruit "Boot Camp" in Borden ON... and live just south of there in Schomberg with my wife Susanne... met her in Baghdad back in '96, but that is another story.
Since I wrote the above, I have fully retired from the Navy and now work part time as a consulting contractor for the military. I have also recently moved back to London and live in a nice condo right downtown. Hope to see some of you old school mates out and about
