Bob's Story
Still up here in Grants Pass. Moved up here back in '78. Thought I would get a job with State Parks or Forest Service, but wound up doing the next thing to it....selling insurance. Any job was a good job back in the '70s. GP is a great place to live and raise a family. I was warned way back then that it 'rains all the time' and 'they hate Californians'. After the first couple of years we realized the weather was perfect, and everybody in Oregon was from Calif anyway. I do miss Bakersfield every now & then and all the gre...Expand for more
at memories...WOW!...did we have fun or what? San Luis was 'priceless' too, and all the time spent at Avila. The beaches up here are beautiful but it is hard to body surf with all the jackets you have to wear. I still ride motorcycles and couldn't live without my boat and water skiing. But nothing compares to those after school (& sometimes during school)romps to Lake Ming...WOW...did we have fun or what? I miss all my EB buds...I guess its my turn to call or buy lunch (sorry guys)? PS...anybody know where the 40s went to?
