Tiffany's Story
Life
I've been married to Bob Herrmann for 37 years. We live in Elverta, CA, a suburb of Sacramento. We have 4 children. Holly, 32; Matt, 30; Tim, 27; & Carter, 18. I worked for the CA Dept. of Forestry and Fire Protection for nearly 19 years. Bob & I have always put our family first. We do a lot of volunteer work for youth activities in our community: PTA, Little League, & Soccer. We also chaired the 20 & 25-year class reunions for Hogan's class of '70. I also worked on the 2006 Hogan High Combined Class reunion held at the Mariott in Napa. It was a great reunion with over 300 classmates in attendance from the 1970, 1971, and 1972 classes. It was wonderful to see so many people once again! These days we are busy with raising Carter and also tending to the needs of our surviving parents. My mother, Beverly Manges, suffers from Alzheimer's and lives in a Dementia/Alzheimer's near our home. Bob's dad, Harold Herrmann, just celebrated his 93rd birthday and lives in an independent retirement facility! Carter began his senior year in high school...Expand for more
in August. He is taking AP Calculus, Advanced Broadcasting, Spanish IV, MCA English 12, US Govt., Consumer Finance, and Honors Physics. He is also on the varsity soccer team for the high school and he is currently playing on a rec team as well. Holly and Matt are both married. Holly is a junior high school math teacher here in Sacramento. She will be Math Dept. Head again for her school this year. Matt works for CA Dept of Equal Employment Development. Matt and his wife, Ashley, are the parents of Zachary who was born October 13, 2005 and Andrew who was born August 11, 2006.Carter was the same age Bob was when he became an uncle for the first time. Ironic, I guess! We also try to get away on vacation as often as Carter's school schedule allows. We just spent two weeks in Mexico with Carter and Tim and Bob's brother, Gene and his wife, Patty. We all had a great time. But, it is sure great to be back home. We remain very busy and loving the life we have made for ourselves. We are blessed in every way! I look forward to hearing from all.
