Bob's Story
Life
After High School I obtained a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the UofA and during that time married Cathy (nee Vail), also from J.P. Comp. After University, we moved to Vancouver, where I worked with Hallmark Engineering - a forestry consulting firm. We had our first son Shawn in May 1982. ur second (and last) son Ryan was born, while we were home in Vancouver. In January 1985 we moved to Virginia for about 18 months, starting up the mill I had been working on. In April 1986, we moved to Drayton Valley, Alberta, with Pelican Spruce Mills. In 1990 we moved to Stony Plain, then in late 2000 we moved to Federal Way, WA with Weyerhaeuser Co. I've been married to my first wife (Cathy...) for 28 years this year.
