Bob's Story

Just like many of you the big 60 looms. I retired when I was 53 and love it. I have a PT job working for a fantastic grocery chain in the SE (Publix) I was a trainer until recently and have stopped doing that after 3 years. Now a cashier waiting for my wife of 37 years (2 daughte...Expand for more
rs) to retire in Jan. Spent 22 years in telecom and 13 as a radio announcer. Played Ice Hockey and Softball until I was 53 as well. It has been a GREAT run and we are looking forward to moving to our home at the beach in Jacksonville Fl. after RVing around the country in 2011.

Today is Flag Day. We are imperfect but in our house we PROUDLY raise our flag in honor of all our goodness.
For anyone who knows me for any length of time glasses are part of my persona. Well, NO MORE my friends. Yesterday my right eye cataract covered lens was replaced with a brand new lens. 14 days after my left eye was done. N
