Bob's Story
Life
I cant beleive it has been 17 years since I graduated from STM. A lot has happened in my life since then. I never would have imagined I would be where I am now. Most of you probably know my family has owned Wilcox Insurance Agency for many years. I ended up starting work there in 1990 and have been there since. I worked my way through college while working in the agency. I graduated from HCC in 1991 and Westfield State in 1997.
In 1994 I met Cheryl who later became my wife in 1997. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful children. Matthew(6), Joseph(4) and Sarah(3). We have been furthur blessed with our fourth baby due in March or 2006. Cherlyl and I reside in Westfield and are in the process of build...Expand for more
ing a new home as we are getting quite squeezed in our current 1,300' home.
My carreer in the agency has been wonderful. I can honestly say I love what I do and have enjoyed great success. My father retired in 2002 and I bought him out at that time. The agency has grown exponentially over the last 10 years through acquisition and agressive sales. In the fall of 2002 I purchased property on Broad Street in Westfield and had a 7,000' building constructed during this year. I moved the business to that location this past June.
So that is a little of what I have been up to. I hope there is a reunion in the next few years so. I have fond memories of my time at STM but man I would never want to repeat it!!!!!
