Hi Everyone; My name is bob orvis, i went to stryker high school back in 1969 thru 1972 and graduated. I'ts been 40 yrs ago. I was born in Taylor Michigan and moved to Ohio to live with my cousins steve and scott Carroll out on RR# 2 just south of town. I played basketball 1 season and then i went to 4 county vocational school for two yrs. and studied small engine service and repair. After graduation i went back to michigan to my aunt mary's homewho lived next door to where i grew up. Later that yr., i got a job at chryslers in aug. worked 89 days and got laid off. I didn't get called back so i went to Georgia and worked at the farmers market till oct. I then left there and headed to Denver colorado. Iworked for a doctor who was a chiropractor and a hypnotist. I fixed up apartments that he owned for an apartment to live in . While working for the doctor at 20-30 hr. a week, i also got a part time job at Denver university cleaning offices. I went back to michigan again for christmas tnen back to denver. I met a guy that sung in a band named greg, he did songs from K.C. and the Sunshine band.We hung out together for a couple of months and he interduced me to a guy who could play a guitar as good as hindrix could play. I thought this guy should be in a band and play in a consert. I found out later that the guy was Jimmy Page from the group Led Zeppelin . After a couple of months more, i went home to michigan.
