here I learned under the wings of Judy Crouse, Jim Tichy, Frank Cody, Bill Seiler, and John Quaintance. I couldn't find a job in journalism so I heard the call of service and spent three years going to graduate school at the University of Toledo and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, wanting to be a parish worker. Upon graducation from seminary, I again could not find work, so I bounced around doing odd jobs until May 2, 1981. At that time I was hired to be a mail handler at the Main Post office in Toledo, Ohio. Spent 21 and a half years at the P.O. before leaving to serve my local church as a pastoral assistant. I served for 5 and a half years doing God's work before leaving to start my own courier service, working for various same day courier companies including Prestige Delivery Systems, and my current company Corporate Transit of America. While I was doing all of this I married Sherrie Likens, in 1983, and we have two lovely daughtesr Karin and Aimee. My sports passions are the New York Yankees (1961 team was the best) and the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.".
