Bobbi's Story
My favorite way to relax is to leave the city and head to the country where there is green trees, corn fields, farms, and nature. One of my favorite trips was to camp in Canada,{Did I mention the 10 pound walleye I caught}? Ha
I married in 1974 and moved to Germany. I lived in Germany three times, and also in Kentucky, and in Georgia. I had 4 children during the marriage. I was happy to return to Illinois in 1990, and divorce followed in 1994.
I gave my life to the Lord when I was 21. I have found that true happiness is not necessarily where you are, but a relationship of the heart with God, knowing that he loves you and has a greater purpose than us ...Expand for more
just "getting by" in life. He has a divine plan.
Over the years, I have alternated between home care and secretarial. My current job is doing home care for people that need assisted living sometimes. Sometimes that is a child and sometimes it is living with an elderly person that can't be alone.
If I could do one thing over in life , it would have been to find the Lord earlier, and make different decisons that lasted a lifetime, or too long. I would not have made decisions in fear or for other people. I would have waited for the best in life. However God is good, and holds a future.
I have enjoyed re-connecting with class-mates, and look forward to more.
