Bobbi's Story
Life
After high school I stayed in Lake Elsinore near my family. Then in '91 went to work for Lake Elsinore School District as a school bus driver. Graduated this past November from Nursing school. Unfortunately I have not kept in contact with anyone from high school, so I don't have any idea where or how any of my old friends are doing. I'm sure they are all Doctors and Lawyers and such by now....
School
' 85 High School... I hated it! I graduated and wouldn't do it again if I got paid to do it.
' 86 RCC... Something to do at the time. Areason to party and not have to get a job.
'95 SJC... Emergency Medical Technican training... Only 6 months of school to learn everything you need to know to save a life..... Found out what they got paid!!! Stayed a school bus driver for another 5 years
02' Summit Career College to begin 20 month program for LVN license. '03 Leave of Absence... Due to serious illness. '04 Returned to school but in a diffrent graduating class.
'04 Nov. Graduation!... Finally what turned...Expand for more
into over 2 years of stress and sleepless nights, early mornings and all the dirty work we could handle!! Waiting for background check and paperwork to be processed so I can take state boards.
'05 Jan. Still waiting... Probable date... first part of March for test date. Looking for job.. will flip burgers for Burger King to get bills paid!
Workplace
JACK OF ALL TRADES... MASTER OF NONE.
Worked alot of diffrent jobs, plumbers apprentice, Quality Control Inspector for a computer company, Emergency Room Registration Clerk, House Keeping Staff at a Resort Hotel (hated that one!) Volunteer Fire Fighter, Paid Reading Tutor,
School bus driver for almost 11 years.
EMT for a short time, got hurt on the job and now I can't do that anymore.
ER Tech in a hospital, nights, working with the nuts and crazy people and that's the staff.
I am a recent graduate from nursing school (Nov. '04) and waiting to take the boards. Hopefully soon!
I am hoping to find a nice hospital Emergency Room somewhere and help save lives.
