Bobbie's Story
Life
Graduating in 1968 was a landmark year when the county and the world was on the brink of a new age.
In the Spring of 1968 when Martin Luthur King was assasinated our school rallied around the issue of racism. A topic I never heard before at Wakefield High School.
Previous to living in Virginia I lived in Hawaii where racial differences were respected and acknowledged. This is not to say it was all smooth sailing but race was delt with.

s clerical workers. (if you know where these two are I would love to get in touch).
Toni went to college, Dotty I'm not sure and me, I went on to drift in the classic sence of the times. Went to Woodstock, traveled from Hawaii to Europe, ending up in New York City.
I married Toby Thaler from Spokane Washington in New York City. We bicycled accross Canada in 1972 from New York to Seattle. The Northwest has been my home for 32 years. Today I live on an island just off the cost of Seattle. Hawaii instilled a love for the water that I still charish today.
