I am enjoyed working on our REL/JT 50th class reunion held for May 15,2010 at Willowbrook Country Club.

Only thing wrong with this picture is I am still working and most on the committee are retired. Wonder how that happened!
It was fun to see everyone that attended the reunion and catch up on what is going on with them. How can so may years pass and we are all just the same (or wish we were)?
What is my story? sort of boring but here it is>
I married my high school sweetheart in the fall of 1960 and we moved to Colorado while he finished his military service. Our first son was born in Colorado in 1962 and we returned to Tyler shortly after that. Our second son was born in 1970. I was a stay at home mom for a long time but eventually tried...Expand for more
several jobs until I discovered real estate sales in 1978. Now this is a job that is never boring! I have continued to enjoy my chosen profession and have served in leadership roles in our association for most of my career. I was President of our board of Realtors in 1995 and Realtor of the Year that same year.
My sweet husband died in 1995 and I spend most of my time working or checking on my two grandchildren that live in Houston.
Jimmie and I loved to travel and I have continued to take advantage of opportunities to see the world now that he is gone.
I think about retiring, but I am pretty sure I would get tired of that pretty quickly so I just keep on going. I do enjoy my work and love meeting new people and making new friends.
Now.....I want to see everyone else's story! So start writng.
